Let the One Without Sin Cast the First Stone

Let the one without sin cast the first stone... you may have heard this in the lines of a book you have read, in the line of a movie you have watched, or in a conversation in your daily life. If you ask me, it should be characterized as an expression and not a "" word. Because that's my humble opinion. Today we will dive with you to the deep meanings underlying this phrase. It sounds like a strange saying when it's first read; The first stone? The sinless one? Why are we throwing rocks? Who are we throwing it to? Why are we throwing it away? Let's go back 2,000 years for this five-word sentence. One day, when Jesus was in the shrine, the Jews of Jerusalem grabbed an adulterous woman by the hair and dragged her to the ground and threw her in front of Jesus. And they asked him to punish this woman. But the Jews don't care about punishing women; It was to test Jesus because according to the sharia of moses, the prophet who came before him, women who commit adultery must be recmed. But Jesus constantly advised people to forgive, to be forgiving, to repent. If he forgave her, people would have told him, "You do not follow the sharia of Moses." But if he had punished her, they would have blamed him for "you were advising to be forgiving." Jesus leaned to the ground, drew a circle with his finger on the ground, and that circle became a mirror with the permission and power of God, and everyone who looked in that mirror began to see his most shameful sins in the past. He saw his own evil in his reflections in the mirror. Jesus stood up again and said to that community of people, "MAY THE FIRST STONE BE THROWN BY THE INNOCENT! "The crowd was muted. When Jesus turned around, everyone but the woman was gone, and they all ran away. They were ashamed of their sins. She became themselves, and their sins, which bounced out of the steel mirror, stoned themselves... 2,000 years ago, 2,000 on this anecdote. When we look at the present, do we see anything that has changed? The number of stones has increased, the number of stone grinders has not decreased. People are afraid of making mistakes because we're insatiable, and we're always carrying a stone in our pockets. In case someone makes a mistake and we stone them. But none of us know that the mirrors between us, the stones we throw, can bounce off those mirrors and come to us. Or that mirror may never show up. Then we'll stone and injure the other person. And then what? What if that stone hurts someone we love and care about? Then what are you going to do but regret it? What happened when Ivan the Terrible regretted it? His son was dead, and desperation was evident in his eyes. Speaking of which, let me tell you about that incident and the painting. If they said what is the best painting of remorse, I would undoubtedly call them the "Terrible Ivan kills his son" painting by Ilya Repin.

This is the painting. Let me tell you about the painting: Ivan IV, nicknamed Ivan the Terrible, who was the First Russian Tsar. He's a bit of a grump, as his nickname suggests. Father Ivan and his son Ivan Ivanovic were not on good odds. The last straw is that one day Ivan the Terrible sneaks into his pregnant bride Yelena's room, he gets angry that she's not dressed enough for the customs of that period and starts beating her daughter-in-law. After hearing Yelena's screams, Ivan came to the room and rushed to help her father. You sent my other wives to the convent for no reason! Now you've beaten another one to death and killed my child in your belly! Ivan was right. His father beat his daughter-in-law so hard that h

e dropped the baby in her belly. In the early hours of the morning, the night after the beating, Ivan Ivanovic came to his father's room and argued with him, his anger was that his son died in the womb. His father accused his son of disobeying him and was angry with him. Because in a war at that time, father and son disagreed, and as the argument progressed, Ivan the Terrible put the iron wand on his son's head and his son collapsed on the spot. Ivan is wounded in the temple. Father Ivan rushed towards his son. He's holding his hand and his son's bleeding temple. "I'M DAMNED! I KILLED MY SON. I KILLED MY SON !'' He's screaming. His son Ivan turned to his father, half-
disgned, and said: "I die a faithful son and a simple servant."

The wand in the painting is the stone in the event I just mentioned, Ivan Ivan the Terrible stoned, and Ivan Ivanovic stoned without charge. The regret in the eyes of Father Ivan... Regret after throwing the stone in your hand... In the table, both Ivanis are illuminated by the early morning sun. We people also wish that the sun of truth will illuminate....
